Showcase Your Research
The Statewide Student Research Symposium is a sister event for the Student Research Symposium held on the USU Logan Campus. This is an opportunity for USU students doing research across the state to present to their peers, faculty, and the public.
2026 Symposium
Thursday, April 9th
Students may present research they have participated in, including class or independent projects. All areas of inquiry are welcome, including humanities, social science, and art. Any student affiliated with a USU Statewide campus or taking a Statewide class may participate.
- Oral presentations will be short, 3 or 4-minute “lightning” talks. You will typically prepare a PowerPoint presentation.
- For the poster sessions, you can create a research poster or present your art or creative products.

- Sign up by March 30th
Oral Presentations
1:00 - 2:30 pm
Short, 3-4 minute, oral presentations at all campuses. The top 3 presenters will each receive a $200 Amazon gift card.

Poster Sessions
2:30 - 3:30 pm
Poster sessions will be held at Vernal, Price and Moab campuses. There will be prizes for these poster sessions.
