Beginning Bird Watching

This beginning bird watching workshop is intended for new and inexperienced birders who are looking to learn how to identify birds by sight and sound using binoculars and field guide. Please bring binoculars and field guides if you have them. Walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing for the field trips (dates decided during workshop). Scopes and cameras would be helpful to bring on field trips.
Beginning Pickleball

Pickleball is a sport created for all ages and skill levels. It combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong into a fun court game that is easy for beginners to learn and challenging enough for competitive play. Pickleball paddles and balls are provided, or purchase is optional.
Fly Fishing & Tying 101

You will discover basic fly-tying technique and basic fly-tying patterns common for Mountain West fly fishing. These patterns will provide a beginner fisherman's experience to be simple but efficient at catching high mountain stream sport fish.

Gentle Yoga

Workshop 2: We will talk about mastering workflows and forms, banking, and reconciling.
Workshop 3: We dive into the report center and master custom reporting, and how to expertly analyze the data we have collected.

TREMONTON
Basic Photography

This course covers the basics of photography with an emphasis on making better pictures. It will include the topics of camera handling, exposure, depth of field, picture composition, lighting, and the use of different equipment. It is desirable to have a digital 35mm camera for the class, but another camera may be used. The focus will be on improving the overall quality of photographs. You will learn concepts in the workshop and then have an opportunity to practice taking pictures. These pictures will be shared with the group and become the basis for photography discussions.
Beginning Quilting: Machine Piecing

Have you told yourself that you would like to eventually try creating a quilt? Now is the time! While attending this workshop, you will learn the basics for creating many different quilt blocks. The principles of fabric selection, cutting and piecing blocks will be learned as part of a beautiful sampler. See you there! Irons and ironing boards will be available for your use in class.
Project Quilting

Let’s create beautiful quilts using your sewing machine and special cutting techniques. You should already be familiar with a few quilt piecing skills. Color and design possibilities will be explored along with satisfying results to enjoy for many years. We will be doing two or three projects with possible variations.
Voice Acting

Learn the wonderful world of Voice Acting from a veteran character actor and full time Voice Artist. The class will focus on the different styles of Voice Acting, as well as where to find work in an increasingly digital world. Even those who are not interested in working in Voice Over can learn how to improve their voice for online meetings or social media. Please bring your preferred note-taking items.
