Utah State University Eastern Prehistoric Museum announced that it has joined "Museums for All" to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.
The Prehistoric Museum is thrilled to announce free admission for all visitors on September 17th-18th. In conjunction with the Nine Mile Canyon Stewardship Day and Smithsonian Museum Day, entry fees to the museum will be waived this Saturday and Sunday.
Museum visitation was at an all-time high for the 2021-2022 fiscal year with over 22,000 visitors. We want to send a big thank you to both our local community and museum visitors from all over the world and hope that this free weekend will encourage you all to come back and enjoy both our permanent exhibits as well as our temporary exhibit, Horns & Tusks: Ceratopsians and the Evolution of Bizarre Headgear.
The Prehistoric Museum is open Sunday – Wednesday from 9 am – 5 pm and Thursday – Saturday from 9 am – 7 pm.
