Trevor O'Neil

Biography

Trevor is an undergraduate student at the USU Bingham Entrepreneurship & Energy Research Center, focusing on biology with environmental emphasis. He has participated in many Uintah Basin research projects over the last several years, including air quality modeling and monitoring, water quality studies, and mercury instrumentation. His work is funded in part from grants by Uintah County, Utah Department of Environmental Quality, the Bureau of Land Management, and the US Department of Energy. Trevor was a 2014 recipient of the National Science Foundation's I-Corps commercialization grant and served as the entrepreneurial lead to assess the commercial viability of our mercury instrument and technology. Trevor provides vital maintenance and repair support for USU mobile scientific labs and stationary monitoring sites.
