Biography
Anthony Lott works at the Blanding Campus of USU Eastern. Originally from Salt Lake City, he attended the University of Utah where he received his BFA in painting and drawing with an emphasis on figure drawing. After finishing his graduate degree Anthony worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Montana, Missoula.
His studio work includes drawings and paintings for a collaborative novel with author Timothy O’Grady, and landscape paintings which contrast the arid American southwest against the southwest coasts and highlands of County Kerry, Ireland.
Anthony lives in Bluff – a small town on the San Juan River. Roughly 20% of the population of Bluff volunteers for one or another of its county emergency services. Anthony has served as a firefighter and EMT, and teaches Emergency Medical Responder courses for USU.
